Obituary of Dorothy Mae Dalrymple

Dorothy Mae Dalrymple, 92, of White Township, NJ passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, February 24, 2018.

Dottie was born on June 14, 1925 in Pen Argyl, PA, the daughter of the late Luther Smith and Lillian Morris.

In addition to her parents, Dottie was predeceased by her husband of 41 years, Clifford James Dalrymple, Sr., who died on April 8, 1982; a brother, Charles Smith, who died in 2012.

She is survived by her three children; Patricia Singerling of Stroudsburg, PA., Clifford James Dalrymple Jr. of White Township, NJ, Sandra Lee DiMarco of White Township, NJ; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and 19 great- great- grandchildren.

Dottie worked for Tung-Sol Company and the American Can Company from which she retired in 1989.

She was a very industrious and independent person who was still driving her car. Dottie enjoyed watching football and English comedies on TV with her son Jim. She was very proud of her Cornish, English, Welsh, and Pennsylvania German heritage.

She was greatly loved by all of her family, along with many family pets over the years of her life. Dottie will be greatly missed by all.

A private graveside service will be held at Summerfield Cemetery, White Township, NJ.
