What a remarkable woman Dorothy was. She visited Plymouth, Devon many years ago, and was able to set foot on Cornish soil to discover places associated with her roots, which she thoroughly enjoyed. She and my grandmother Emma had corresponded for many years, and it was sad that they never met, but so wonderful that Dorothy was able to make the journey to meet the rest of the family.
