I am a friend of Marsha's. Was just reading the Courier News and just wanted to send my deepest sympathy and condolences to the Bethke family. I lost my mom ten years ago and I know how hard it is to lose a loved one but time moves on and with the grace of GOD the pain will lessen. Keep him in your fondest memories.

Please know you are all in my heart and prayers...the photo you posted reminded me so much of all the laughs we had with him, his beautiful sparkly eyes, and his infectious smile that was always so welcoming and endearing to me. May you find comfort in all the memories and joy he brought to all who knew him.

I only met Mr. Bethke a couple of times, and don't feel like I knew him at all; but I hit it off with Marilyn immediately at Cedar Crest College; she looks like him, and if she takes after him much, he was a jolly and kind man to be missed.
