Kathie E. Walsh, 58, of Shawnee-on-Delaware, PA, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Friday, November 27, 2009. Born on January 15, 1951 in Scranton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Peter Edgar and Evelyn Ann Jenkins Walsh. Ms. Walsh was a graduate of Worcester State College, Worcester, MA. She had been involved in the mental health industry for over 35 years. She lastly was employed as a practice administrator for ISL, Ltd., Stroudsburg, PA. Kathie was an avid reader, wrote poetry, and had many dear friends. Surviving are a son, John-David Kowchak and his wife Stephanie of Glenolden, PA; a grandson, Logan Xavier; a sister, Jayne A. Walsh of Harleysville, PA; a niece, Melissa Glidden; a nephew, Matthew Glidden. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Salvation Army or a charity of one's choice.
