Joshua Ford Tresslar, 27, of Allamuchy Township, NJ, formerly of Belvidere, NJ, passed away Wednesday January 14, 2009 at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, NH. Joshua was born on April 27, 1981 in Pompton Plains, NJ. He was a mathematics teacher at Newton High School where he also coached football, wrestling, and baseball. Joshua was a graduate of Belvidere High School and Rutgers University. While in high school, he was a standout athlete in football, wrestling and baseball. He was awarded the Warren County Athlete of the Year. He was a Bloustien Scholar, a member of the National Honor Society and served as President of the Student Government. Surviving are his father, Michael Tresslar; his mother, Brenda Healy Fabula and her husband Edward; two brothers, Matthew Tresslar and his wife Stefanie, Tyler Tresslar; a sister, Devany Fabula; his fiancé, Danielle Weber; his maternal grandmother, Lorena Healy; and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
