Condolences
Sincerest condolences to the Snover family on the passing of Whip as well as for Shirley. Shirley and I attended many meetings together, and my late husband, Bill, and I went to Carol and Earl Hummel's for picnics. My stepson, Gary Albrecht, worked with Ron at BASF prior to his retirement, and I used to go to the Belvidere Pool where I often saw Shari and her children. My thoughts and prayers are with the family that God may comfort you and give you peace.
Blessings,
Joan Albrecht
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Snover. I once repaired some furniture for him and Shirley. When I returned it, I had what turned out to be a 2 hour conversation with him. An irreplaceable wealth of local knowledge and lore. His memories and incites, both factual and humerous, were absolutely spell binding. I will always be greatful for that conversation and it holds a special place in my memory, now and forever. Please accept my codolences, as I know in some small part of your loss.
Dear Shari and the rest of the family,
I was so sorry to hear of Whip's passing. Whip, Shirley, and my mom, Helen Grauso, were all good friends and I'd sometimes attend church with them and we'd all hang out for coffee sometimes downstairs. My mom would often tell me about her friends Shirley and Whip and she would occasionally make pies to take over to them. I miss those days. May Whip rest in peace in Heaven with Shirley and also my mom. I send my prayers and deepest condolences.
Whip had a Love for this country and served Bravely for this country, which I am so greatful for. He also had a Love of God and family. I met him and Shirley at the Belvidere Pool years ago, and we would talk about everything. I loved to hear about Belvidere and the History which Whip and Shirley were well versed on.I loved getting the Christmas card each year and what they did that year, where they traveled for the WWII reunions. They both were like a Mom and Dad to me, when both of my parents passed, they both talked with me , sent me cards and always made sure I was Ok or if I needed something to call on them. This was so big to me being an only child. My prayers are that in Whips memory we all can have a love of this country and :Love of Family and God and treat each other , like Whip did with love, kindness , and caring .
Prayers for the family Mary Lynn Orchard
