Obituary of Agnes A. Hill

Agnes Ann Hill, 90, of Belvidere, NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 8, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Newark, NJ on December 4, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Frank Szyc and Emily Stanecki  Szyc.  Agnes lived in Lyndhurst for 60 years before moving to Parsippany, then to Belvidere for the last 20 years.

Agnes was the wife of the late Charles G. Hill who passed away in 1970.

She worked as a supervisor at McCrory Corporation for many years in Lyndhurst and Parsippany. For the last 20 years she was a clerk at ShopRite in Phillipsburg.

Agnes was very active going on day trips and vacations.  She especially loved spending time at the family residence on Long Beach Island.

She was a Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, and friend who was loved and adored by all that met her. She was especially fond of her grandchildren Brittany and Gregory.

In addition to her parents and husband, Agnes was predeceased by a sister, Alice and a brother, Frank.    

Agnes is survived by her son Charles and his wife Wendy of Fredon, NJ; grandchildren, Brittany and Gregory; many nieces and nephews.

A Christian Wake service will be celebrated 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at MacFadden Funeral Home, 325 Hardwick Street, Belvidere, NJ. Friends may call from 10:00 AM to the time of service. Interment will follow at 1:00 PM in Holy Cross Cemetery, Ridge Road, North Arlington, NJ.
