Florence Helen Kochis, 94, of Nazareth, Pennsylvania, formerly from Belvidere, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 22, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Florence was born in Belvidere to Edgar and Stella Burd on August 16, 1925. She dedicated her life to the love and care of her family and in service to the Lord.
Florence is survived by her four daughters, Eileen Slattery and her husband James, Gail Knerr and her husband Harry, Deborah Kearns and her husband Patrick, and Patricia Demeter and her husband Richard; ten beloved grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; her caretaker of many years, Natalie and her daughter who have become a part of her family.
In addition to her parents, Florence was predeceased by her loving husband George; sisters Elizabeth Burd and Louise Kovalsky; a brother, Edgar Burd.
Due to the recent NJ State order, a private burial will be held for immediate family at the Belvidere Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
