Condolences
Shirley is remembered by many of the people at the First Congregational Church of Chester where she and her family were long-time members. I remember how Shirley worked long hours as church secretary and how I had to give her the words to the praise songs that she typed into the bulletin each week. Shirley had many good friends at FCC, and I'm sure she's enjoying being together with them once again. <3 Carol Hawthorne
My Condolences and sympathies to Fred and the family. Shirley was so sweet and kind. She made a prayer shawl for me quite a few years ago. Met her and Fred at church and immediately felt at home with them. Once Shirley was outside working with some flowers. As I was driving past, I noticed a black bear was coming her way, and she had her back to it. I beeped my horn and yelled to her. I never saw a small little lady run so fast! We had a good laugh about it later. I know Shirley is at peace with her Lord and Savior.
Sincerely,
Dee Antonow
