Mr. McKibben was my junior high math teacher. I think I had him for at least two years at William Annin Jr. High. He always had my attention, as he was commanding in the classroom. His wit was something I've always remembered as was his willingness to come in to school early and provide extra help when needed. I actually enjoyed math after Junior High, but I honestly don't think there were many other teachers with his dedication to students. I just happened upon his obituary and was sorry to see that he had passed. Although it's been over 40 years, I remember him quite well and with fondness. Linda Clifford Hadley

Sorry to hear of the passing of Cork McKibben.

I spent many evenings with cork when he worked at Charlie Hazel gas station while he was attending college. He was working his way through college and I was just loafing at the gas station and keeping him company. He was a great guy I never saw him after he relocated to NJ but never forgot him either.

We are free today in this country because of veterans like Cork.
