Obituary of Doris M. Ayers

Doris M. Ayers, 85, of White Township, Belvidere, NJ, passed away on June 11, 2019 at St. Luke's Warren Campus.

Born in Harmony Township, NJ on September 11, 1933 she was the daughter to the late John Burdge and Caroline Merrick Burdge.

Doris graduated from Belvidere High School in 1951. Many will remember her from working as a market manager for 30 years at Polhemous' Crossroad Farms. She was loved by all who knew her. Doris's feisty spirit carried on with her until the very end. Doris will be missed deeply by her family and friends.

Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Gary V. Ayers of Belvidere, NJ; three children, Karen M. Glynn of Wilkes Barre, PA, Kevin G. Ayers and his wife Jean of Belvidere, NJ, and Kelle A. Ayers of Stewartsville, NJ; 8 grandchildren and 2 great- grandchildren.

Private services are under the direction of MacFadden Funeral Home, Belvidere, NJ.
