Steve's wit and work ethic were hallmarks of his time at the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office. It was my pleasure to know him during those years. My deepest condolences to the family.
There aren't any words...... I'm still in shock. Steve was my longtime Our Lady Of Czestohowa grammar school buddy.... I've subbed classes for his sister, Christine. Beautiful family. Tragic losses to become Angels Soo soon in life. Beautiful friends for many years. Thoughts and prayers for family members. Memories remain in our hearts and souls. Xo

Dear Lori and Family, There are just no words to describe the deep sadness my family and I feel over the passing of Steve. Steve was not only a best friend but, he was a friend I shared laughs with , confided in and trusted . We shared the good times as well as the sad times. Mr. Matuszek was a great professor, loved his career, spoke affectionately about his family, genuinely cared about other people, challenged and encouraged me as a student and human being. I will never forget the lessons he taught me, conversations, his smile and love of life. He will be sorely missed.

Have many fond memories of our time at Warren County Prosecutor's Office, the Torch Run & yes as 'Santa Steve'... no one did it better. Please take comfort that despite his short time here, he left a lasting legacy.
I will miss his smile & gentile way. He was a kind soul.
