Please accept my condolences on Helga's passing. Over the years, when I was a local reporter, I met Helga at numerous Belvidere events. Even when local petty politicians tried to attack my reputation because of news articles they did not like, Helga still approached me with a smile and a "Hello Jay." I have never forgotten that. She wqas a good person and I shall miss her.

So very sorry to hear of Helga's passing. She was always so gracious and friendly when I used to deliver her mail from the Belvidere Post Office. I enjoyed seeing her and Sven in the military vehicles in the Belvidere Memorial Day and Veteran's Day parades. I miss her already. My condolences to Sven and family.
