Condolences
My first memories of Aunt "Helen" ( I was probably 13 or 14 before I learned her name was Virginia but to this day - she still is Aunt Helen to me) were of being 'up at the farm' with Nan-nan and Pap-pap to get apples or strawberries. Aunt Helen would always be there with her smile and warm welcome. Even our two sons, Brent and Jason, have made similar comments when we shared the news with them. Yvonne and I were fortunate enough to spend a few days with Aunt Helen not too very long ago and cherish the time spent her reminiscing about growing up with Nan-nan and Pap-pap and all the stories that it generated. Although we are unable to be with you, please know our thoughts and prayer are with each of you.
I will miss virginia’s smile. She faithfully came to the YMCA every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for the 10:30 am arthritis class for years. You were dearly loved by the class and myself. You will be missed. Rest In Peace my friend.

Kathy, Bob and the Mackey family.
One of my first jobs was picking strawberries on the farm. I couldn't wait to fill my carrier so I could straighten up and walk to the stand! I don't know how Mrs. Mackey and Margaret and Mom did it. And at the end of the day, always picking "one" more to take home.
Please accept our sympathies and prayers. Mom and her best buddy are together forever.
The staff of MacFadden Funeral Home extend our deepest condolences to you and your family on the passing of your loved one. Please accept our heartfelt sympathy for your loss. May our thoughts and prayers provide comfort for your family during this difficult time.
