James S. Blozen, 83, of the Brookfield Glen section of White Township, Belvidere, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 23, 2018 at the Care Center Brakeley Park, Lopatcong, NJ.
Born on March 4, 1934, in Newark, NJ, he was the son of the late Frank and Anna Howarth Blozen.
Mr. Blozen was a lab technician in the paint control lab for Pettit Marine Paint Co. Rockaway, NJ for over 40 years before retiring.
JIm served in the United States Army during peacetime from 1957-1959.
James was a parishioner of St. Patrick R.C. Church, Belvidere, NJ.
Jim was a member of the ELK's Lodge #782, Lake Hopatcong, NJ. He enjoyed spending his time golfing and bowling. He had an interest in Lionel trains and was an excellent gardener.
Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Ellen Lynch Blozen; three daughters, Margaret Riger, Eileen Champa (Mike), Jennifer Dudley (Lou); two granddaughters, Samantha and Erin; one niece, Jacquelyn Giacalone.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM, Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at St. Patrick R.C. Church, 327 Greenwich St. Belvidere, NJ. Friends may call from 3:00- 5:00 pm and 7:00- 9:00 pm Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at MacFadden Funeral Home, 325 Hardwick St. Belvidere, NJ.
