Obituary of Albert R. Steele

Albert R. Steele, Sr., 80, of Gillett, PA formerly of Harmony Township, NJ is coming back home to the place where he was born and raised, Harmony Township. Albert passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center, Elmira, NY after a short illness.

Born on November 22, 1936 in Harmony Township, NJ he was the son of the late Joseph and Stella Steele.

Albert was a lifelong dairy and crop farmer. He was an avid hunter and a local high school sports fan. Earlier he had been a baseball coach for the youth league.

Surviving are his four sons, Albert Steele, Jr. and his wife Ellen, Dan Steele, Bill Steele and his wife Gretchen, and Tim Steele and his wife Amy; ten grandchildren, Elizabeth, Sarah, Jennifer, Zorianna, Savina, William, Emily, Lindsay, Carson and Cameron.

Funeral Service will be held 11:00 am on Monday, June 26, 2017 at MacFadden Funeral Home, 325 Hardwick Street, Belvidere, NJ. Interment will follow in the Montana Cemetery, Harmony Township, NJ. Friends may call from 10:00 am to the time of service.
