Christina Unangst, 55, of White Township, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday, March 24, 2017 at the Care Center of Lopatcong.
Born on August 3, 1961 in Jersey City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Christodoulos Nicolaou and Hedwig Drexler Nicolaou.
Christina was a 1979 graduate of Belvidere High School. She had worked in the Great Meadows School as a cafeteria worker. Christina had been a volunteer for the Knowlton Township Fire and Rescue.
She had been predeceased by her husband Timothy Unangst who died on April 5, 2007.
Surviving are her son, Mark Unangst; three sisters, Athena Trechel, Agathe Agens, and Sophia Couch; a brother, Michael Nicolaou; many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Gathering will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at MacFadden Funeral Home, 325 Hardwick Street, Belvidere, NJ. The interment will be private in the Belvidere Cemetery.
