I am googling a name for Woodridge and your Mrs, Mrs Van Der Wall’s name came up. I graduated WRHS in 1977 and was a big fan. I was in Library Council and we also drove her to the allergy doctor in Westwood. I currently work at Lakeland regional High School - never became a teacher but always loved school and Carol was one of those reasons. May you know she always has a place in my heart - now I want to find my yearbook.

I was only a student of [Mrs] Van's for a couple of years in junior high, but she joined a long line of strong women librarians who helped guide me onto the path my Life was meant to follow. My heart is with Rich and all her family - may her smile and laughter ring in your memories as it does in mine.

Mrs. Van der Wall was one of the best. I had her for homeroom one year and she had such a great sense of humor. I even did a stint at Rutgers Newark in the library for work study because she instilled the importance of libraries in me. Please know that she soars with the Angels! Prayers for all of you who loved her and will miss her.

My sincere sympathy to Carol's family. Carol was a neighbor, classmate & friend I will remember her fondly.
