Obituary of Louise Allen

Louise Allen, 92 of the Brookfield section of White Township, Belvidere, NJ, formerly of Holiday City South, Toms River, NJ, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Twp., NJ. Born on April 10, 1920 in New York City, NY, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Christina (Binetti) Cundari and the wife of the late Victor Allen. Mrs. Allen was a sales manager for J.C. Penny, Menlo Park, NJ before retiring. She had been a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church, Toms River. Mrs. Allen was also a member of the Holiday City South Italian American Club and the Red Hatters, Toms River. Most importantly, she was a volunteer for many years at the Community Medical Center, Toms River, up through the age of 90. Surviving are a son, Bud Allen of Brookfield, White Twp., NJ; a brother, Nick Cundari of Toms River, NJ; two grandchildren, Rob Allen of Bangor, PA and Kim Allen of Greentown, PA; four great-grandchildren, Bobby, Sydney, and Bailey Allen and Patrick Sweeney. Services will be private under the direction of MacFadden Funeral Home, 325 Hardwick Street, Belvidere, NJ. Contributions are requested to be made in her memory to the American Heart Association.
