Catherine Bessie Hopkins, 101, of Belvidere, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 4, 2016 at the Care Center of Lopatcong, Lopatcong Township, NJ.
Born in Belvidere, NJ on January 23, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Amanda Hooey.
Mrs. Hopkins was a Nurse's Aid for the Visiting Nurses of Warren County for many years before retiring in 1985.
Catherine was a member of the Belvidere United Methodist Church, Belvidere, NJ.
In addition to her parents, Catherine was predeceased by her husband, Harry Hopkins and two sons, Robert and Ricky Hopkins.
Surviving are her children, Alfred Hopkins of Long Pond, PA, Donald Hopkins of Washington State, Lee Hopkins of San Francisco, CA, Ronnie Hopkins of Knowlton Twp., NJ, and Patricia Hopkins of Belvidere, NJ; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at MacFadden Funeral Home, 325 Hardwick Street, Belvidere, NJ. Interment will follow in the Belvidere Cemetery, Belvidere, NJ. Friends may call from 10:00 AM Tuesday to the time of service.
