Edward J. Worrow, 89, of the Brookfield section of White Township, Belvidere, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at his home.
Born on April 25, 1927, in Hempstead, L.I., NY, he was the son of the late William and Elizabeth Eames Worrow. Ed had lived in Three Bridges, NJ before moving to Brookfield over 16 years ago.
Ed had been an electrician for Ethicon, Bridgewater, NJ for over 27 years before retiring.
He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was stationed on the warship, USS West Virginia-BB48. He was involved in six battles including the greatest naval battle in history, the Battle of Surigao Strait.
Ed was a member of the V.F.W., Thomas J. Kavanaugh Post 2290, Manville, NJ. He enjoyed his hobby of photography.
Surviving are his wife, Adolfine Schrenk Hutchins Worrow; step-children, Donald Hutchins and is wife Jeanine of Milford, NJ, Kelly Adams and her husband William of New Hope, PA, and Lori Taylor and her husband Ronald of Medford, NJ; five step-grandchildren; two nephews and one niece.
Funeral Services will be private.
