Obituary of David Weissman

David Weissman, 49, of Belvidere, NJ, passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at St. Luke's Warren Campus, Phillipsburg, NJ. Born on November 19, 1963 in Summit, NJ, he was the son of Robert Thomas Weissman and Linda Susan Lockyer Weissman of Long Valley, NJ. David was a 1982 graduate of West Morris Central High School. He received his B.S. degree in Business from Rutgers University in 1988. He was the president and owner of Precision Graphics, Branchburg, NJ. Dave was a former member of the Belvidere School Board. He had been active with the Belvidere Youth Athletic Association and had been a soccer coach. He also coached with the Independence Travel Soccer Team. Dave was devoted to his job, employees and family. Dave was predeceased by a son, Eric. Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife of 23 years, Marybeth Mazar Weissman; two sons, Alec and Matthew; two brothers, Daniel and his wife Cheryl and Eugene and his wife Jamie. Contributions, in lieu of flowers, are requested to be made in David's memory to the Belvidere Youth Athletic Association. Even at death, David continues to help others through his organ and tissue donation to the Sharing Network of New Jersey. This is David's gift of life that he may help so many others one final time.
