Obituary of Richard B Stout

Richard B. Stout, 83, of Belvidere, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at his home. Born on August 7, 1932 in White Township, NJ, he was the son of the late John Stout, Jr. and Ruth Godschalk Stout. Rich was a corrections officer for the Warren County Correctional Facility for over 18 years before retiring with the rank of Sergeant. Earlier he had worked for the former Celanese Company in Belvidere. Rich was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Being proud to serve his country, Rich was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 5193 and the American Legion, Post 131 both of Belvidere. In addition to his parents, Richard was predeceased by his son, Mark J. Stout, who died in 2011. Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Naomi Morey Stout; a son, Richard B., Jr. of Newfoundland, PA; a daughter, Deborah Stout of New York State; 2 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; several nephews and nieces. Private Graveside Services with Military Honors will be held under the direction of MacFadden Funeral Home, Belvidere, NJ.
