After so many years I still Think of your Husband and Father. He was a class act, a role model and mentor to me and my brother . He made a lifelong impression i'm certain, on every other firemen on our Department He and his understudy John Kelly .who had already been forged by Captain Baker into a great Fire Officer as well saved many lives at fires and even more so with their medical skills on critical medical emergencies. . I always felt safe with those heroic men no matter what danger was raging around us. I can still hear his voice and his laugh in my mind and for that i am grateful. I hope to join him again. in our place in heaven. thanks again for sharing him with us all

Captain Baker was a great man and an outstanding fire officer. I would like to offer my condolences to his family.When I first came on the job I swapped tours with my best friend Marty DeMarzo alot and was fortunate to work under Captain Baker. Knowing I was a rookie he made sure that during that tour he would teach me something about firefighting. I will always remember him and never forget how he made a mark on my career.
