Condolences
As members of the church in Gorham, Maine where Catherine Butler's son David is pastor, we send our condolences, knowing that the loss of a loved one, in this case David's mother, brings real sorrow. We are thinking of the family with sympathy and love.
Dear David- Our thoughts are with you and your family during this sad time. Our sincerest condolences to you.
As mother to Rev David, she must have been a very special person. My condolences - the death of a mother/spouse is devastating. I will keep you in my prayers.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
David, Maureen and family,
Please accept our prayers and condolences in the loss of your mother. We both know personally the large gap that occurs when one's mother is no longer present.
May the memory of all the happy times with her sustain you and all your family through these next days.
Dear David and Family -
Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. From the stories you tell of your childhood, I gather that your mother holds a special place in your heart. That love is forever. My best to you.
Our thoughts are with all of The Butler family.

We were so sorry to hear about the loss of Kay. We will always remember her smile & laughter she brought to us at Quality Packaging. She was a great co-worker & friend; we are deeply saddened.

I met with Kay periodically when her woman's club made holiday cards for the partcipants of the Warren County Meals at Home Program. She became a friend and I will miss our visits "in the parking lot" of Countryview Village. She was a lovely lady and I will miss our chats.
We wanted to offer our condolences for your recent loss and we hope to provide some encouragement from the Bible. We all must face the sting of death and we need to have some hope for the future. Jesus assures us that he will not allow those that have fallen asleep in death to remain there forever. He promises that he will bring those dear ones back to life, just as he demonstrated a few times while on earth. (John 11:11-14; John 5:28-29) And we can take comfort in knowing that Catherine is not in any pain or anguish. The Bible teaches us that being dead is like asleep. (Eccl 9:5,10) But when Catherine is resurrected in God's new Kingdom here on earth, the earth will be a better place. No longer will there be death and suffering and pain. God's Kingdom will usher in a Paradise earth for all mankind as the last enemy death is done away with forever! (Dan 2:44; Isaiah 33:24; Psalm 37:11,29; Rev 21:3-4; Matthew 6:9-10)
Pray for God's Kingdom to come soon!
