My condolenne to the family of Mary Rose DiMenna.
Although we have never met, we are very sorry to hear of you loss of your dear Mary. Surely, there are no words that one could say that could bring you lasting comfort. However, the Holy Scriptures do provide us with a sound basis for hope that we may see our loved ones again in the not to distant future.
In the spring of 31 C.E., Jesus Christ boldly promised: “Just as the Father raises the dead up and makes them alive, so the Son also makes those alive whom he wants to. Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out” (John 5:21, 28, 29)
