To the Ritter Family,

Sincere condolences on the loss of your Mother.

Mrs. Ritter was an admirable example of caring community involvement.

Her longtime dedication to the Belvidere Free Public Library, and her leadership as our Board President, were inspirational.

I enjoyed working with Mary and learned much from her.

We had lots of fun discussing "The Cat Who..." series and other mystery books.

Mrs. Ritter was a wonderful lady who will be truly missed by many.

I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. I have such fond memories of both of your parents. You truely have been blessed.

The town of Belvidere has lost a wonderful lady. A Belvidere Icon.

I will always remember her in the hardware store with her black cat.

I have so many wonderful memories growing up as part of the Ritter family. I will always remember how Grandmary welcomed me and my brother with open arms and an open heart. Mostly though I have been most blessed because she raised such amazing children, one of whom I've been lucky enough to have as my Papa! Love you! My thoughts are with the whole family. Having known you all for so long I feel like a part of the family. Mrs. R was special in so many ways. The time I spent working for her and with her supplied so many hours of discussion between us and provided me with a wealth of information and insight that I never would have gained except for our association. I was constantly in awe of her wide range of knowledge in so many subject areas and am grateful for the opportunity to have known her. It is true that while I worked for her I learned much more from her than I earned for her, and she will always remain in my mind as a unique individual and one of the most influential in my life.

Condolences to the entire family. Mom may be gone, but her long string of good deeds on behalf of the citizens of this town will provide her a legacy for years into the future. She gave citizenship its real meaning.

I'm very sorry for your family's loss. It is very hard to lose the ones that are loved so dearly.
