Dear Bell Family,
I have never met any of you but your precious son, Matthew, is now buried near my Fiance, Joshua Tresslar. My Josh passed away Jan. 2009 from lymphoma and went through Stem Cell transplant. I feel comfort knowing there is someone "close by" at the cemetery. I feel they can talk under the ground. I will keep you in my prayers and thoughts!
Hi Carenna, Brian and Josh
May God strengthen you all during this most difficult time. Matt was truly a fantastic youth man and an inspiration to all that new and touch him.
God Bless

My heart goes out to the Bell family even though I've never met any of you. Matthew was in the First Baptist Church of Belvidere's prayer list. I hope that you can rest in that Matthew served his time on this earth as his Creator appointed, though for the remaining of us we feel his loss. Please take comfort in the Words of God and seek Him in your sorrow. He best understands and knows your hearts. My thoughts are with you. "But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the Lord will hear when I call unto him. Stand in awe, and sin not:: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. I will miss Matthew very much!!!Didn't get to see you as much as I would have liked to, but I did enjoy having you walk around with Christopher and I at the flee market last summer checking out the unique coins.I will always treasure that time I had with you. No one should ever have to go through what you did. I am sooo sorry.
Carenna and family,
I am so very sorry to hear of the tragic loss of Matthew. At last he will be with God and his angels now to rest in peace. I feel very badly that I couldn't attend the viewing today nor the funeral tomorrow. However, all of you are in my prayers. God Bless and Keep All of You in His Care.
Carenna & Brian & Family--Our Deepest Sympathy Goes Out To Your Entire Family-Matthew Will Be Missed By All--Our Prayers Will Be With You Each And Every Day--Joe & Barbara Coakley--
Dear Brian,Carenna,Josh & the Bell Family: Our deepest sympathy to all of you on the loss of Matthew. Remembering the first time we met Matthew (it was at the Crossroads Diner with his grandmother, Wanda) he was probably only 3 - he had the most infectious smile of any little man we had ever met! We followed his long battle, ups and downs, highs and lows and most of all his determination to beat all the odds. We know that he is now free of pain, long suffering and has a very special place in God's arms. He will always be remembered for the courageous battle he fought. He made us all better people for teaching us how to be strong. May our prayers help you to treasure all the memories for they will forever be your treasures.
Brian,Carenna and Josh,
We are so sorry for your loss. We know that Matt is in a better place. Our prayers are with you all.
My condolences to the families of Matthew. As a parent who has lost a child I know that no matter what anyone says, it will not take your pain away. My only words of comfort to you, is to keep the faith. God bless you. ++
Brian, Carenna & Josh,
My heart aches for you. I am so sorry for your loss. I know that Matt is taking comfort in the Lord's arms. While I never met Matt, I am sure he has already asked the Lord where the legos room is. May the Lord be with the entire Bell Family.

To the Bell Family,
All of our thoughts are with you in this mixed blessing you are going through. Matthew was the bravest child and will be remembered years from now when we think of great persons. As you go through these trying times, the good lord will work his miricals for all of you and Matt will be right there to help as he always was. God bless him and keep him now. Amen
Sincerely, Kevin, Margaret and Boys
We want to express our most sincere condolences for your loss. While we did not know Matt personally, his godmother kept us abreast of his strong will and determination.
I can give no real advice, no words of comfort: simply, I'm sorry for your loss. I can not imagine what you and your family are going through, but I will be with you in thought and in prayer.
I am one of the people who knew Matthew but never actually met him. Ann shared with me his long hard journey over the past years. As his journey hear on earth ends I trust he will find the peace and happiness he so deserves. May you all find the peace in knowing he is happy and in God's arms.
Carenna, Brian, Josh & family
My sincere condolences for your loss. He is with the angels now and they are all playing with legos.
Jesus said, "...I am the Resurrection and the Life. He who believes in Me, even though he dies, he shall live. And he who lives and believes in Me shall never die..."
My Our Lord hold your precious child in His Arms until that day that all are reunited and every tear is wiped away.
Your beautiful son has been enrolled on the Prayer List at Our Precious Angels and will be remembered by name in our Daily Intentions.
May God grant you His Grace and Peace to endure this difficult time. Be assured that there are many whom you do not know that grieve for your loss and will pray for you daily.
Brian, Careena and Josh, I was blessed with the opportunity to sit and enjoy lunch with Matt at the Tall Cedars golf event last year.He told me all about his shark tooth collection and gave me the chance to get to know him a little bit. Since that day he has been an inspiration to me. He will be greatly missed by many.
Dear Brian, Carenna, Josh & all the family,
Although we were saddened to hear Matthew had passed away, we were also thankful that his struggle was over. We don't understand the whys but we know God is in control and knows best. Matt fought the good fight and His Heavenly Father welcomed him home with open arms. What a hug that was! Try to keep all the happy memories at hand and know that you are not alone in your grief. Matthew touched more people in nine short years than most do in a long lifetime. He and Josh are precious gifts. We pray our Lord will continue to bless and comfort y'all now and always. Love to all,
Joyce, Ron & David Ross

We will always remember Matthew in his pirate outfit in Mrs. Marsh's second grade Poetry Night! We marveled at his strength and drive to do all the things his classmates were doing! Our heartfelt prayers and thoughts go out to your family. May you find peace in the fact that Matthew is no longer in pain. He sure lived life to its fullest!! Thank you for sharing your boy and his story with all of us - you'll never know just how many people's lives he touched, young and old!
Love and friendship, Lauren and Lucas Richardson
