Condolences
Sue,Its hard to put in words the sympathy we feel for your loss.
Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
My condolences to Gil's family. I worked with Gil at the bank on Rt. 46, outside of Belvidere many years ago. We didn't have many customers but we had lots of friendly chats. Later, we both worked for Hoffmann-La Roche. Since we didn't work in the same department, we didn't run into each other very often. But when we did, he always stopped to say hello and ask how I was. I have fond memories of Gil and what a good person he was. I'm sorry to hear he's left his family and friends much too soon.
Very sorry to hear of Gil's passing. He was a very great person and will be missed. My sympathy to family and friends.
Sue,Ray & Jack: althought we may be strangers to Sue we knew Gil not only from growing up on Hardwick St. but through Church. God has a very special place for him you can be sure; he was so kind and loving. Our hearts are broken for you all and surely you are in our prayers. Love Ray & Gloria

My deepest sympathy to Gil's family...I'll always remember our good neighbors on Hardwick Street and growing up with the Smickle brothers. May God bring you comfort during this sad time.
Our deepest sympathy to the Smickle Family. The Hardwick Street Kids will always have the wonderful memories of growing up together in Belvidere. We were too busy being together, biking, playing tag, football and loving life, and never realized back then, that we would have to say goodbye to our closest friends in the future.

I grew up with Gil, sang in church choir with him, and had many good times along the way. As often happens with childhood friends, we drifted apart. I was looking forward to seeing him again at our class reunion this August. My deepest sympathy to all his many family members.
