Condolences
To the family of Harry Schneiber
My family and I have spent the last 20 years going to your fathers apple orchard every fall. It was a family tradition started when my children were young and each year I would take a picture of the kids with your dad. I have so many fond memories of our annual outing to visit your dad and his beautiful orchard...what a delightful man he was...always a teacher at heart we all remember one of the first trips to your dads farm he taught us the correct way of picking an apple and about each of the many apple varieties his orchard had. He was always so kind and although we would see him but once a year our year was not complete without him. This fall will not be the same and we want you all to know that we will always remember our trips to dads orchard and in the years to come remember him fondy and the lessons he taught us.. He will always be with us when we go apple picking.
I never had Harry as a teacher but he was our "egg man" when I was growing up. His apples, peaches, and other produce often found their way to our house also. I was also one of few people allowed to hunt pheasant and rabbit on his property. I'm sure he will be missed by many.
It’s always sad when we lose someone dear to us.
My deepest condolences to the entire Schnieber family. Thank you for “sharing” your dad for so many years.
Mr. Schnieber was my Ag teacher at BHS, and I will always remember the warmth, encouragement and patience he showed his students and the enthusiasm he had for agriculture and the FFA. Humble and kind, your father was a wonderful role model and dedicated teacher. He gave of himself so freely—always having time for his students. A man of high integrity, his word was his bond.
To your dad, I’d like to say simply: “Thank you, Mr. Schnieber, for all you did for me and other BHS students. I now realize the many sacrifices you made because of your profession. It feels like just yesterday that I saw your warm smile and heard your kind words. We were so blessed to have you as our educator.”
Things simply won’t be the same without Harry around.
May he rest in peace besides his loving wife, Margaret. God Bless!
Liz and family, My thoughts are with you. He lived a good life and gave so much to so many. I have great memories of planting strawberrries, feeding chickens, and Atlantic City (horses on the beach). Know you are in my prayers. My love always. Lois Ann
My deepest sympathy to your family on the loss of your father and grandfather.
To the Schnieber family,
Please accept my condolences on the loss of your dad. He was my ag teacher and FFA adviser in high school, and was a very warm and caring man. Whenever I saw him after I had graduated, he always had a kind word and asked how my family and I were.
I'm sure you are proud how many lives he touched and molded.
I will keep your family in my prayers.
God Bless..

I was hired as an aide for Crossroads Homecare back in December. I was sent on my first job during the day to Harry's house. Harry and I got along very well. He was such a good guy. We got to know each other well. Then Harry didn't want anyone there in the daytime so I would go in the night. I would clean, cook, and spend time with Harry watching T.V. Harry would always ask me did anyone water the plants and I would say I didn't know, so he would tell me to do it. We would sit and talk about his Train rides that he took with his wife. He was such a real gentlemen. I want to say sorry to Joni and Liz for the loss of there father, and that I really enjoyed taking care of him for the 4 months that I knew him. He will be sadly missed by me.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. I am glad that I was able to see Mr Schnieber in Oct at the class reunion. It was a great pleasure of knowing him. Rest In Peace
Dear Liz, Joan, Laura and Melissa
We are very sorry for the loss of your father, grandfather and our good friend and mentor. He will be missed tremendously. We will always have such fond memories of his especially around apple, cherry and peach season. He was a wonderful person.
To the family of Harry Schnieber,
My deepest sympathy to you on the loss of your father & grandfather, Mr Schnieber was a great and wonderful man. He was my mentor and freind from my years in Ag classes at BHS and my life after. He taught me so much that I am indebted to him for ever. I will always cherish the memories I have of him and I and others riding the rails on many trips to Kansas City and Michigan. I will miss him greatly and miss seeing him sitting in the garage as I pass by his former residence. Rest in peace Mr Schnieber may you always be the Owl looking over us.
