Sylvia Lanterman, 93, a four year resident of the Woodcliff Lake Health and Rehabilitation Center, Woodcliff Lake, NJ passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at the center. Born on December 2, 1916 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Rudolph and Sophie Ulricksen. Mrs. Lanterman lived in Hope Township, NJ for many years before residing in Woodcliff Lake. Mrs. Lanterman was a secretary for Educational Products Company, Hope, NJ and before retiring, the Western New Jersey Telephone Company, Belvidere, NJ. Surviving are two children, Bruce Lanterman and his wife Carole, and Beverly Lanterman; three grandsons, Douglas and Eric Lanterman, and Alex Birmelin. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 7 Ridgedale Ave., Suite 103, Cedar Knolls, NJ 07927.
