Dear Family of Gerard Leonard,
Gerard's father, Edward F. Leonard, was the brother of my great grandmother Elizabeth "Bessie" (nee Leonard) Guy Wellbank. Doing genealogy research, I happened upon this memorial. Though it's been more than 2 years, my deepest condolences to you on your loss.
I was living in Mount Bethel, PA just across the river from Belvidere when Gerard passed. I never knew Gerard, or his father. But my mother Mary (nee Dunn) Crane remembers her great Uncle Edward fondly. And to think I had a relative (albeit distant) this close and didn't know it.
