Obituary of Charlotte Jane Cowell

Charlotte Jane Cowell, 72, of White Township, Belvidere, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 10, 2012 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 27, 1939 in Easton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Belva Geiger Rymon. Charlotte was the wife of Howard F. Cowell, Jr.. They would have celebrated their 54th anniversary on September 27th. She was a graduate of Washington High School, class of 1957. Charlotte retired from the Warren County Public Health Nursing Agency after 25 years of service. She was an avid gardener and she had a great love for her family and her dog, Abner. Charlotte was a member of the Buttzville United Methodist Church; United Methodist Women, serving as president for many years; Daughters of the American Revolution, Peggy Warne Chapter; Warren County Historical Society; and the Belvidere Garden Club. Charlotte was predeceased by her sister Brenda; grandson, Michael Cowell; daughter-in-law, Polly Cowell; sister-in-law, Jean Rymon. Surviving in addition to her husband; children, Tracey Hess and husband Jeff, Brenda O'Neill and husband Michael, Christina Fuller, Howard James Cowell, Jennifer Castillo and husband Enrique, Jessica Hamerschlag and husband Chris; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandsons; sister, Arta O'Malley and husband Patrick; brothers, Brent Rymon, Bennett Rymon and wife Debbie, William Rymon and wife Karen.
