Obituary of I. Paul Stoner

Dr. I. Paul Stoner, 72, of Coco Beach, FL, formerly of Lititz, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Monday July 6, 2009 at Easton Hospital, Wilson Borough, PA . Born on October 23, 1936 in Bird-In –Hand, PA, he was the son of the late Isaac H. and Irene Wenger Stoner. Dr. Stoner had lived in Lititz, PA before moving to Coco Beach, FL. He had also enjoyed his summer residence in Upper Mt. Bethel Township, PA. Dr. Stoner was a graduate of Lititz High School, Millersville University and Palmer School of Chiropractic. He also served in the United States Marine Corps from 1956 to 1958. Dr. Stoner had his practice in chiropractic in Lititz for over 41 years as the Stoner Chiropractic Center. Dr. Stoner was the past president of the Chiropractic Fellowship of Pennsylvania. He was an active politician promoting and protecting the chiropractic profession. Dr. Stoner was very popular throughout the country in the political arena. Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Barbara Geuther Stoner; two sons, Brett and his wife Laurie of Lititz, PA, and Lance of Atlanta, GA; two grandsons, Patrick and David; three sisters, Shirley Derr and her husband Pete of Mertztown, PA, Helen Becker and her husband Garth of Lititz, PA, and Anna Shaner of Missoula, MT; a brother, Reid and his wife Doris of Venice, FL; a brother-in-law, Rufus Burkholder of Lititz, PA.
