Ruth I. Canejo, 73, formerly of Florida and Somerville, MA, passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side on Friday, January 9, 2009, at the home of her daughter in Belvidere, NJ, where she resided. Born on May 31, 1935 in Tewksbury, MA, Mrs. Canejo had lived in Somerville for over 35 years before moving to Florida for ten years. Ruth was a realtor, owning a real estate office in Revere, MA. She was an avid bingo player and had enjoyed gardening, painting, traveling on cruise ships, and spending time with her family. Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Edward Canejo; five children, Theresa Canejo, Sandra Canejo, Anthony Canejo, Lisa Canejo, and Steven Canejo; brothers and sisters; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
