Obituary of Frederick C. Lee

Frederick C. Lee, 79, of the Brookfield section of White Township, Belvidere, NJ, passed away suddenly on Tuesday December 2, 2008 at his home. Born on September 7, 1929 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Frederick and Rose Anderson Lee. He had lived in East Meadow, NY, where he raised his family. He lived in Hackettstown, NJ before moving to Brookfield six years ago. Fred had served in the N.Y.P.D. as a sergeant before retiring in 1978. Later he became the Director of Security at Queens College, Flushing, NY. Fred had also served in the army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Lee was a parishioner of St. Patrick R.C. Church, Belvidere and served as an usher. He was a member of the Joyce Kilmer Knights of Columbus Council no. 2483, Hackettstown, NJ. Mr. Lee had also enjoyed golfing. Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Patricia McCarthy Lee; four children, Kevin, Debbie, Susan and Nancy and their spouses; seven grandchildren; a sister, Nancy Masullo.
