Eleanor F. Parfrey, 84, of Delaware, NJ passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at Manor Care Health Services of Palmer Township, PA. Born on December 3, 1923 in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Eva Wells Steeber. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Thomas Henry Parfrey. Mrs. Parfrey was a graduate of Belvidere High School class of 1941. In her youth, she sang on her own radio show in Newark, growing up with numerous vaudeville stars and future stars. After high school, she married and raised a family. Surviving are a daughter, Constance Armstrong of Delaware, NJ; two sons, Terry of Idaho and David and his companion Rita of Washington, NJ; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
