Harry J. Hammond, 79, of the Brookfield section of White Township, Belvidere, NJ, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at the Kindred Hospital, Dover, NJ. Mr. Hammond was the comptroller for West Morris Y.M.C.A., Randolph, NJ before retiring 15 years ago. Surviving are his wife, Catherine E. (Foley) Hammond; three daughters, Maureen Bayles and her husband Robert, Catherine Parks and her husband Kenneth, and Colleen Scheibling and her husband Robert; seven grandchildren.
