Wendy Lewis, 64, of the Country View Village section of White Township, NJ, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2008, at the Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, Hackettstown, NJ. Born in Bryn Mawr, PA on February 10, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lois Bates Mayers. Ms. Lewis was the circulation manager for the Star Ledger newspaper for over 20 years before retiring in 2003. Ms. Lewis was a graduate of the College of St. Elizabeth, Convent Station, NJ. She was an accomplished painter and was a member of the Painting Club of Warren County. Surviving are a son, Andrew; a daughter, Rebecca; a brother, Keith Mayers; two sisters, Marty Fletcher and Amy Mayers; two grandchildren. Contributions may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 669 Littleton Road, Parsippany, NJ 07054.
