John Polizzotto, 71 of Belvidere, NJ, passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 25, 2008 at Manor Care Rehabilitation Center, Palmer Township, PA. Born on August 12, 1936 in Paterson, NJ, he was the son of the late John S. and Rose Ritacco Polizzotto. Mr. Polizzotto was a produce manager for Mignosi's IGA, Stroudsburg, PA and previously for Shop Rite Supermarket, Easton, PA. John had been an avid bowler. Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Pauline A. Lussier Polizzotto; three daughters, Rosemarie Bell of Elizabeth, NJ, Michelle Barrella of Belvidere, NJ, and Maryann Polizzotto of Allentown, PA; two brothers, William of Rogersville, TN and Robert of Florida; two sisters, Jean Stuherch of Passaic, NJ and Kathy Dippold of Vernon, NJ; ten grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. A brother, Salvatore Polizotto had died earlier. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the charity of one's choice.
