Thelma C. Folkner, 94, of Buttzville, NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at the Care Center of Lopatcong, Lopatcong Township, NJ. Thelma had been the Postmaster of the Buttzville Post Office for many years before retiring. Born on July 13, 1913 in Washington, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Chester B. and Sadie M. Thomas Creveling. Mrs. Folkner was a member of the Buttzville United Methodist Church, Peggy Warne Chapter of D.A.R., Order of the Eastern Star. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank J. Folkner. Surviving are her daughter, Yvonne B. Canfield; two nieces, Sheila Creveling and Helen Marie Creveling.
