Obituary of Christodoulos M. Nicolaou

Christodoulos “Chris” M. Nicolaou, 81, of White Township, NJ passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday November 1, 2007. Mr. Nicolaou was the owner of All Seasons Diner, Route 46, White Township, Belvidere, NJ before retiring. Born on March 26, 1926 in Larnaca, Cyprus, he was the son of the late Michael and Maritza Christo Nicolaou. Chris had served in the Army during the Korean conflict. He was a graduate of Rutgers University. Chris and his wife Hedwig nee Drexsler Nicolaou had been married for 53 years. He was a member of the American Legion, Carl D. Archer Post 528, White Township, NJ. He had been an avid fisherman. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Surviving in addition to his wife are five children, Athena Trechel, Agathe Agens, Christina Unangst, Sophia Couch, and Michael Nicolaou; nine grandchildren, James Agens, Hiedi Nicolaou, Michael Agens, Heather Couch, Jeremy Couch, Mark Unangst, Justin Trechel, Marissa Trechel, Colin Nicolaou; a great-granddaughter, Courtney Levee; a sister, Anthoulla Pappas. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to be made in his memory to the Knowlton Township Fire and Rescue Company, P.O. box 231 Delaware, NJ 07833.
