Obituary of Ronald W. Minich

Ronald W. Minich, 72, of Belvidere, NJ passed away Friday, October 5, 2007 at Easton Hospital, Wilson Borough, PA. Born February 15, 1935 in Marklesville, PA, he was the son of the late B. Ray and Goldie Knisley Minich. Ronald and his wife Ruth (nee Lynch) celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary on September 27, 2007. A resident of Belvidere, NJ since 1961, he was employed at Ingersoll Rand in Phillipsburg, NJ as a project engineer for 26 years. For the past 20 years he was employed as a staff engineer at Picatinny Arsenal, Dover, NJ. He was a 1957 graduate of the US Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, NY. Ronald played the French horn in several local marching bands. He enjoyed the outdoors as an avid hunter and fisherman. Surviving in addition to his wife Ruth are three sons, Robert Minich of Clinton, NJ, Richard and his wife Mary Beth of Effort, PA, and James and his wife Renee of Sharpsburg, GA; four grandchildren, Brad, Bryan, Nicole and Leah Minich; two sisters, Norma Massood and her husband Michael of Wayne, NJ and Linda Queipo and her husband Ray of Lake Ariel, PA.
