Condolences
Barry & my Big Brother Jerry McDonald were good friends in Belvidere where they grew up.Living in Pa, I just came upon this sad news.
Barry’s name would often come up at the dinner table as we prayed for his safe return from Viet Nam. My brother Jerry was there at the same time.
Please accept my heartfelt sympathy for the loss of this kind, wonderful man.
My cousin Barry and I were extremely close when growing up. I lived with my Aunt Doris, Uncle Bill, Grandmother & Barry for a year while my mother was sick. We were like brother and sister. Prior to and after that year, we would visit them every weekend. I looked up to him and he was there for me just like a "big" brother would. He was a large part of my past and a piece of me is now missing.
Love Karen
Note: I am perplexed as to why his parents: Doris Burdge Lock Seguine and Charles Lock were omitted from the obituary.
Brent and Jim, I am so sorry for your loss. Barry was my cousin also, and I was very close to Barry also. I will never forget Barry, and also his parents Doris, Lockey, and William Seguine.Barry also helped me to get my job at the DRJTBC.
God Bless.
Ruth/Russell Scott
My deepest sympathies go out to you and all of your family.
Cousin Linda Lock
from Pennsylvania
Barry Lock was my first cousin. My deepest condolences go out to his wife, Sue, his brothers, Brent and Jim Seguine, Jim's wife, Tara, as well as my cousins, Donna Wright and Karen Brewer, and the rest of our family. The loss of Barry has left a very deep void in our family. I will never forget his mother, Doris, his father, Charles Lock, and his step-father, Bill Seguine. Barry and I shared many good times together and I will always cherish these memories. Barry was instrumental in in helping me obtain my job at the DRJTBC, for which I'll always be grateful.
Lovingly, Russell H. Scott
My sympathy goes out to Brent and Jimmy.I lived next door to Barry, Brent and Jimmy in Belvidere. Barry was such a nice guy. Brent, we have good memories to share as a result of growing up together.
Our deepest sympathy to all the family. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. May God bless and comfort y'all during this most difficult time.

Barry was a good friend and mentor during my six plus years at Dominica Recreation Products. He will be greatly missed...
Deepest sympathy to Barry's family & friends. Enjoyed working with Barry over the past 20 years.
It was a privilege and an honor to know Barry for over 20 years. He was a kind and generous man who had a golden soul with a big heart.
I miss him every day... because I know I can't just pick up the phone to call him. I just knew him professionally, but over the years you get to know someone personally, and my world is a little lonlier without him.
He was a good man who thought of others always before himself. He will be mourned by many, missed by more, and God knows that His world was a better place because of Barry Lock.
We worked with Barry in Union county and continued the age group running program when he became the director for HCPS. In the 20 years that we ran the program he was always very supportive of our efforts. Without a doubt one of the finest people we have had the pleasure of knowing.
Our prayers to you and Barry's family.
Susan,
You are in our prayers.
I served alongside Barry with the 5/60th, 9th Infantry Division at the little basecamp called Rach Kien, South Vietnam.
I will always remember Barry as being a very nice person even though he was in a very difficult place and difficult situation. He always treated the rest of us fairly.
God Bless and thanks for your service to your country, Barry.
Everyone there knew me as
