Obituary of Willis M. Richards

Willis M. Richards, Jr., 85, of Buttzville, NJ, formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away suddenly on Saturday June 9, 2007 at the Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, Hackettstown, NJ. Mr. Richards was a car inspector for Conrail for many years before retiring in 1981. Born on October 14, 1921 in Stanhope, NJ, he was the son of the late Willis and Mabel Houck Richards. Mr. Richards had served in the Army during WWII. He had enjoyed camping and card playing. His wife, the former Carrol M. Dalrymple, had died on October 11, 1982. Surviving are two daughters, Judy Deremer and her husband Wayne of Phillipsburg, NJ and Louise Cramer and her husband Steven of Buttzville, NJ; four grandchildren, Bryan Cramer and his wife Simone of Las Vegas, NV, Kelly Holzli and her husband Kevin of Newton, NJ, Beth Deremer and her fiancé Christian Homay of Easton, PA, and Scott Deremer of Phillipsburg, NJ; a great granddaughter, Aliya Holzli; a brother Glen of Missouri; three sisters, Wanda Holmes of Budd Lake, NJ, Jean Still of Netcong, NJ and Betty Kishpaugh of Missouri. Three brothers and two sisters had died earlier.
