Obituary of Mary Adelaide Tuckmantel

Mary Adelaide Tuckmantel, 92, of Harmony Township, NJ, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday April 17, 2007. Born in Belvidere, NJ on August 7, 1914, she was the daughter of the late George and Addie Fritts Widenor. Mrs. Tuckmantel had been the office manager for the former Burd Chevrolet, Washington, NJ for many years before retiring. Mrs. Tuckmantel graduated from Belvidere High School and was a member of the girls basketball team. She had also enjoyed bowling. Mrs. Tuckmantel was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of Belvidere. She was the wife of the late Otto Tuckmantel who died on August 18, 1974. Adelaide was also predeceased by two brothers, Wesley and Karcher Widenor and three sisters, Beth Burd, Katherine Burd and Irene Lawrence. Adelaide was a fifth generation aunt to many nieces and nephews.
