I was very sad to see the newspaper today. Betty was such an insiration to me at a very important time in my life. She was such a vibrant, tough, but caring boss and she truly cared about her employees. She always made a point to ask about my family and I will always remember the valuable life lessons learned from her. She lived a life to be proud of. My heartfelt sympathy to her family.

I am so sorry for the passing of Mrs. Stout. My mother was Luanne Jorgenson and Mrs. Stout was such a good friend to her for a long time from Warren Hospital. I greatly admired Mrs. Stout. She was a very caring person. We kept in touch every Christmas. You have my deeepest sympathy and I will keep her and the whole family in my prayers.

I would like to send my condolences to Betty's family. I worked under Betty when she was the head nurse in the Warren Hospital's ICU when I was recruited to work 11-7 in that department back in 1974. When I retired last year, she was kind enough to send me a note, she never forgot her "girls".
