Philip Fantozzi, 80, of the Brookfield section of White Township, Belvidere, NJ, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, September 29, 2006 with his loving family at his side. Mr. Fantozzi was a house painter in the Union, NJ area. He served in the Army during WWII. Born on February 12, 1926 in Newark, NJ, he was the son of the late Joseph and Lorretta Capozio Fantozzi. Mr. Fantozzi had lived in Springfield, NJ for over 30 years before moving to Belvidere four years ago. Mr. Fantozzi was a parishioner of St. Patrick R.C. Church, Belvidere, NJ. Mr. Fantozzi was predeceased by a son, Joseph Carl Fantozzi, who died in 1982 and a sister, Nancy DiCocco. Surviving are his devoted wife of 54 years, Ann Gomes Fantozzi; a son, Philip Fantozzi and his wife Nancy Gale; a sister, Mary Pallante; several nephews and nieces.
