Condolences
This seem so impersonal, but I want to be with each and every one of you. Please know that I am thinking and praying for you. Your mom was the best...I always think of her when I am out in the sun. As a teenager visiting you at the shore, everyone else would be sporting such a wonderful tan, and your mom would say, now Laurie, you better wear a tshirt and put this sunscreen on or you will burn. If course she was right, but I hated parading around so pale while the rest all baked in the sun! So many memories of her will always stay close in my heart-I could go on forever, but I won't bore you. Love you all so much and wish the miles weren't between us! Laurie
HI and love to all of you. I am so very sorry to hear about your Mom. I have thought so often of she and your Dad and all of us camping in our various get aways. Remember when I walked on the hot coals (ok,stupid, I know,I thought they were cool and soft looking) and burned my feet and your dad was the first to help with ice in the metal basin? I remember our parents in that show they put on at St Mary's together, the parties they put together, which were as much fun for us as for them. I remember when I worked in the coffee shop at St Clare's and your Mom would come down on her break and visit with me and make my day a little nicer. I remember how close we all were. I remember so many things and happy times with your family. You are all in my heart and my prayers. Take care of each other.
Love, Carol (Manning)Cornwell
