Obituary of Mildred Helen Lubowicki

Mildred Helen 'Sis' Lubowicki, 88, of Belvidere, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 26, 2012 at home with her loving family at her side. She fought a brave battle with Parkinson's but has now come to rest and join her beloved husband Steven Stanley Lubowicki in heaven. Born on August 11, 1923 in Belvidere, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Margaret O'Neil Rush. 'Sis' married Steven Stanley Lubowicki on October 7, 1941 in Maryland and later again at St. Patrick R. C. Church in Belvidere. She had worked at the Presbyterian Home in Belvidere as a nurses' aide for many years. She later worked in the cafeteria at Belvidere High School and then at IMCO. Her greatest love was her family and her beloved husband Steve. 'Sis' will be greatly missed by all those who came to know and love her. She is gone but will never be forgotten. Surviving are three daughters who have been left to carry on her legacy, Margaret Marie Parrott, Catherine Suzanne Lubowicki Phipany and her husband Wayne, and Debra Lubowicki; six grandchildren, Stephanie Cole, Renee Baylor and her husband Glen, Tedi-Sue Sera and her husband Bill, Steven Parrott and his wife Carrie, Angela Ingwersen and her husband Chad, and Thomas Lubowicki; ten great-grandchildren, Zachary Baylor, Nathan Baylor, Kayleen Baylor, Cassandra Baylor, Mackenzie Sera, Isabela Sera, Chelsea Sera, Dylan Parrott, Elizabeth Parrott, and Isabella Ingwersen.
